Elisabet Titto School

6.990m²

The design of this school was developed based on three fundamental pillars: inclusion, sustainability through the responsible use of municipal resources, and experimentation.

The school was designed to meet educational needs by considering the environment as an educational element, creating spaces that stimulate creativity, interaction, and dynamic learning.

Accessibility was a top priority, ensuring that all students, teachers, and staff can move through the space comfortably and safely. Wide, well-marked ramps, spacious corridors, adapted restrooms, and an intuitive spatial organization reinforce this commitment.

The fluid and multifunctional layout allows for various configurations of pedagogical and recreational activities. The arrangement and integration of the Preschool, Elementary School and Middle School buildings create a balance between open and enclosed spaces, allowing for abundant natural ventilation and daylight, reducing the need for artificial energy consumption.

These outdoor communal areas integrated with the building’s design, including a garden with tubers, vegetables, and leafy greens, encourage learning and social interaction beyond the classroom.

The colorful panels on the façade, both stimulating and playful, along with the circular openings and other visual elements, align seamlessly with the educational character envisioned for the institution
