Hands on Arch

Studio’s Gouveia

27m²

The overview of this residential project was to balance functionality with contemporary urban aesthetics on a limited budget, aligning with the lifestyle of the owner, a street culture enthusiast.

We opted for zoning the daily activities, delimitating kitchen by hydraulic tiles that extend along the equipment wall. On the opposite side, a sideboard serves as a dining area, supported by a suspended shelf. This wall also supports the home office and living area.

Elements such as the linear pendant lighting and vertical skateboard art piece are a nod to the modern and urban character of the space.

The relaxation area is subtly defined by the juxtaposition of the bed and sofa, with a distinct highlight on the textured variation of the headboard wall.

On the balcony, synthetic grass creates a contrast with the predominant black, gray, and white tones.

Red, the client’s favorite color and part of the initial brief, was incorporated into the kitchen design.

This cohesive aesthetic solution effectively meets the client’s needs, providing a functional and comfortable space while staying within budget.
